Hi fellow philosophers...

I know that we are now on the topic of giving and generosity - but I have a
question regarding being mindful.

My question is - what is the distinction between being thoughtful and being
mindful?

My only answer is that to be mindful is to be aware of ourselves and of our
thoughts, whereas being thoughtful doesn't necessaraly translate into being
mindful

Confusing? I welcome your own thoughts

Regards to all, Marcello

Hi Marcello - I had a look in my dictionary, and this is what it said re the word 'thoughtful' - "full of thought: employed in meditation: attentive: considerate: expressive of or favourable to meditation". Makes you realise that these two concepts are not dissimilar. Both are related to the present moment too! Thank you!
